The Christmas Village is packed with activities perfect for visitors of all ages. Offering an array of exciting activities that make it a perfect destination for families looking to celebrate the holiday season together. Another beloved feature of the Christmas Village is the opportunity to visit Santa Claus in his cozy cottage. Children can share their holiday wishes, snap photos, and maybe even catch a glimpse of his cheerful elves. It’s a delightful experience that adds an extra layer of joy to the festivities.
The event also pays homage to the holiday’s true meaning with live nativity performances. These moving reenactments, featuring actors as Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, and other biblical figures, offer a heartfelt reminder of the season’s significance.
For those who enjoy shopping, the Christmas Marketplace is a must-visit. Filled with local vendors, it’s a great place to find unique gifts, artisan products, and tasty treats. Supporting local businesses not only helps the community but also adds a personalized touch to your gift-giving this holiday season.
To top it off, families can enjoy the spectacle of a 40-foot Christmas tree, dazzling with lights a perfect backdrop for holiday photos. With live entertainment, including carolers and choirs, the Village creates an immersive festive ambiance that invites everyone to join in the celebration. Enjoy a moment of reflection at the nativity scene or the warmth of community engagement; there’s something magical waiting for everyone at this enchanting event.
A Culinary Journey at the Christmas Village
One of the highlights of the CBN and Regent University Christmas Village is undoubtedly the incredible food options available. No festive outing is complete without delicious food and here you’ll find a diverse array of vendors offering cuisines ranging from savory barbecue to delectable empanadas and something to please every palate.
Buffet-Style Holiday Dinner
Among the most enticing options is the buffet-style holiday dinner. This feast features a mouthwatering selection of carved meats, perfectly cooked green beans, creamy mashed potatoes, flavorful stuffing, and a vibrant soup/ salad bar.
What truly makes this dining experience special is the atmosphere. As you enjoy your meal, you can savor the festive holiday desserts that round out the dinner, along with refreshing cider and punch by the fire. I particularly loved this option because it allows visitors to step inside, warm up, and enjoy a leisurely meal with family and friends. It’s not just about nourishment; it’s a chance to create lasting memories over delicious food in a cozy environment.
Virginia Beach Community Spirit
One of the most heartwarming aspects of the CBN and Regent University Christmas Village is the sense of community woven throughout the event. As you stroll through the vendor area, you’ll encounter a delightful assortment of goods and services offered by nearby entrepreneurs.
From handcrafted gifts to delicious homemade treats, this is a fantastic opportunity to support local artisans and businesses. By purchasing items from these vendors, you’re not just buying a product; you’re investing in the community and the creativity of your neighbors.
Walking around the vendor area provides a wonderful chance to connect with fellow attendees. Families, friends, and neighbors gather, sharing smiles and stories as they explore the offerings. It’s incredible to see people from different walks of life coming together to celebrate the season, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the heart of the community.
The event fosters connections, allowing attendees to engage directly with local business owners, who are eager to share their stories and the inspiration behind their products. This interaction not only enriches your experience but also creates a sense of belonging and camaraderie that is truly special during the holiday season.

Where to Stay in Virginia Beach – Skip the Chain Hotels
There are many good reasons to skip the chain hotels and rent for your Virginia Beach vacation. A condo rental can provide more space and amenities than a typical hotel room. Rentals also allow guests to enjoy home-like comforts and conveniences. This type of lodging tends to be more budget-friendly than hotels and a rental can provide easy access to home-cooked meals, saving on dining out expenses.
Virginia Beach Atlantic Ave Condo Airbnb
Located moments from the beach the VB Atlantic Ave Condo at Oceans II Condos provides a convenient option for your Virginia Beach vacation. Renting here provided privacy, quiet, and relaxation allowing me to experience Virginia Beach like a local.
During my stay, I enjoyed stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from the cozy comfort of my beachfront studio rental, tailored for those who adore the beach. I liked the benefit of a designated parking spot mere steps away from the shoreline and immersing myself in the sand and waves without the need to navigate busy streets.
As a work-from-anywhere nomad, I appreciated being able to connect with complimentary Wi-Fi and relax with Roku TV access throughout my stay. After a day of seaside bliss, taking a dip in the refreshing saltwater pool or unwinding on the lush lawn, just moments away from the beach was bliss.
I loved how this condo’s kitchen comes fully equipped too with all the culinary needs, from pots and pans to a K-cup coffee maker, microwave, electric range/oven, and refrigerator/freezer. Forget about packing linens, towels, beach towels, or beach chairs too because this host has you covered. The Queen bed was comfortable and I also appreciated the Cooling Hotel Quality Queen Size Pillows, and blackout shades to ensure a peaceful night’s rest.
In addition to the inviting studio, there were excellent amenities within the condo community too. There is a saltwater pool and the property is just moments from the beach visible outside the window. It was easy to unwind without straying far from my accommodations. This condo’s location makes it easy to access the city’s top attractions, including museums, shopping areas, and restaurants. Plus, with multiple public transit options nearby exploring the city is a breeze.
Whether traveling solo or as a couple seeking a romantic retreat, The Atlantic View Condo provides everything you need for an unforgettable beachfront stay. From stunning ocean vistas to thoughtful amenities and a well-equipped kitchen, your stay will be comfortable and hassle-free.
